On the commons node, the Public Market is the devOps instance for the rest of the network with the latest deployed level. The market decomposition by it's taxonomy is more variable than at the non-center nodes.

About Public Market

PM has demo § and one-line listings of the live ads in the periphery, full live functionality in interior. The DCP/MCP OS resets demo periodically. PM token economy uses a fictitious currency "Gong" (工) a token of value distinct from any other for generality of value accounting here in OS managed wallets and ledgers. Here is the current fx to fiat for 10 工, fx is fixed once each day by the same formula.

The 工 economy is not a crypto currency and 工 is not mined, just accounted in the normal double entry way. It does use distributed ledger principles which the OS implements with the standard properties of distributed ledger. There is no central authority and any authenticated peer ledger can transact. In ads and listings 工 prices may be shown with their local fiat fx as in the ExeNovel app entitlements section.

AKPERSON users may have wallets and groups have ledgers as a means of facilitating value presentation, evaluation, and exchange. There is no actual fx or cash in or out, the 工 is not a store of value but rather a unit for the dynamic negotiation and independent settlement of it. Users may make side fiat payments via external means which are not our concern here.
