Public Market

On the commons node, Public Market is not expected to be used much except by those interested in alt markets for the reason stated in Match, i,e. general classified feeds Market but IRC users and other commons users are in general distant, it's not a locality as such and is a square peg in the round local directory hole. That said, time will tell and at this point the function will be available for use on the node.

How It Works

Auction: Sellers post items for sale in the Classifieds. Buyers can browse, make offers.

Reverse Auction: Buyers post what they're looking for. Sellers respond with offers to fulfill those requests.
